Lori Feeny, President | Principle Waste & Environmental Services 

Speaker Bio: For over a decade, Lori has partnered with commercial, retail, and residential properties to develop, implement, and manage sustainable waste and recycling programs. She is passionate about diverting waste from landfills and designs systems that are both financially responsible and environmentally friendly.

Lori has created over 150 waste stream management programs focusing on diversion and can assist in LEED-compliant waste audits. Her work combines ongoing education, outreach, and best practices to encourage greater awareness of our environmental footprints. She is a TRUE Advisor, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and a minor in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.

Company Bio: Principle Waste and Environmental Services, offers years of experience managing the often misunderstood and commonly overlooked nuances of a successful waste stream management system. They analyze each customer's current program, review service options and compliance, perform LEED audits and provide accurate reporting and design a program to meet each customer’s goals.



John D. Vorgeas, Director of Market Development | EDCO Waste & Recycling Services

Speaker Bio: John is a San Diego native that has been in the solid waste & recycling industry for the past 32 years . He has been a San Diego BOMA member since 1987 and has served as the activities committee chairperson as well as served on the  BOMA board of directors in 1993.

John is currently the Director of Market Development for EDCO Waste & Recycling Services. John and his staff oversee the waste, recycling, and organics services for seven EDCO franchised cities, including Lemon Grove, National City, La Mesa, Del Mar, El Cajon, Coronado, Imperial Beach, as well as the City of San Diego's open market area.

Jeanne Patton, Supervising Recycling Specialist | The City of San Diego, Environmental Service Department 

Speaker Bio: Jeanne Patton has worked with the City of San Diego Environmental Services Department (ESD) since 2017 as a Recycling Specialist and now a Supervising Recycling Specialist. She currently coordinates efforts to implement California Senate Bill 1383 in the City of San Diego which includes organic waste recycling programs. Previously, she worked for the San Diego County Office of Education and coordinated a community outreach contract with ESD that focused on waste reduction within the City of San Diego.  Earlier in her career, she worked as an Outreach Director for Greenpeace. She has a B.A. and M.A. in Geography with an emphasis on environmental conservation from San Diego State University. In her free time, Jeanne enjoys hiking, rock climbing, paddle boarding and just spending time in nature.
