New Member Spotlight Featuring Allegra Renard
Welcome one of our newest members to BOMA!
Allegra Renard of Cushman & Wakefield is one of BOMA’s newest members. She has worked in the commercial real estate industry for eight years and is currently a property manager in the downtown San Diego market. When she found out about BOMA San Diego’s Principal Membership Scholarship, she jumped at the opportunity, applied, and was awarded free membership for 2020. In a few short weeks, Allegra embraced our new virtual landscape by participating in April’s Property Manager Download + Idea Exchange as well as May’s Membership Meeting and the Government Affairs + COVID-19 CRE Industry Update.

BOMA San Diego: What was your first job in commercial real estate?
Allegra: I was a Lease Administrator for Md7 beginning in 2012. Md7 works with landlords to help mobile network operators acquire, upgrade, and manage their network real estate and maximize the value of their assets.
BOMA San Diego: What are your top three reasons for joining BOMA San Diego?
Allegra: The ability to stay up-to-date on local codes that affect my property, receive the latest industry news and continue to meet property managers from other companies so we can all build our network of resources.
BOMA San Diego: What are you passionate about in life?
Allegra: Cooking, family and traveling.
BOMA San Diego: In three words, how would your closest friends describe you?
Allegra: Loud, bubbly and compassionate.
BOMA San Diego: If you taught a class on something, what would it be and why?
Allegra: Cooking… I hope to start a blog this year. I will be the next Food Network Star! I grew up on a step stool in my grandma’s kitchen learning our traditional Italian family recipes and immediately fell in love with all things food. A good Italian kitchen is full of love and garlic!
BOMA San Diego: If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Allegra: PASTA!!!!
