New Member Spotlight: Lindsay Fox
Lindsay Fox works in the business development division at Pacific Western Painting, which specializes in commercial and residential painting and wood repair. Lindsay is responsible for lead generation and company growth as well as relationship development with current and future clients.
Born and raised in the Bay Area of Northern California, Lindsay decided to relocate to Southern California in 2012. Her dual background in both regions of California gives her a very unique perspective of the property management industry. She started out as an administrative assistant at a property management office in Danville, CA and was later promoted to a Community Manager position. Additionally, Lindsay managed a portfolio of residential and commercial properties for about 6 years, and has transitioned to the marketing side of the industry as a business partner for the last 4 years. She finds it very valuable to have the ability to relate to real life experiences from when she was a Manager to the needs and wants of her clients now.
In addition to BOMA San Diego, Lindsay is involved in many other local organizations, including CAI, CACM, IREM, Lemon Grove Rotary Club and the Poway Valley Therapeutic Riding Center (PoVa). In 2013, she was honored with the “Perseverant Coach” award while serving on the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) REstart Committee last year.
Lindsay earned and maintained her Certified Community Association Manager designation from the California Association of Community Management (CACM) while working as a portfolio community manager in Northern California. She lists her proudest accomplishment as her decision to relocate to Southern California and establish herself professionally in San Diego and Orange County areas. Having the opportunity to work and live in such a beautiful place is something Lindsay is very grateful for!
Most of Lindsay’s friends would describe her as loyal, determined and passionate. She and her spouse, Chris, have a nine year old daughter named Taylor Paige, and are expecting a little bundle of joy this September!
Lindsay lists her somewhat secret indulgence as eating Cool Ranch Doritos crumbled up and mixed into a bowl of cottage cheese! Fun facts about her include her experience traveling to London, England, participating in the roller derby and relaxing at the beach. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her loved ones, which include two dogs named Mimi and Camou, and her cat Sophie.
