Keith Chrapczynski is an account manager at DFS Flooring, Inc., which specializes in commercial floor covering, products, installation and maintenance. He manages accounts and maintenance services and additionally handles the sales and service of new flooring installations.

His climb up the employment ladder was built on 15 years of industry experience including serving as president, vice president of sales and marketing, design center manager and customer service manager at Interior Specialists, Inc. providing floor covering options to the residential builder community and their clients.

Keith’s roster of participation in civic and volunteer activities is rather impressive! He currently serves on the Board of Directors as the Sponsorship Chair for IFMA San Diego Chapter, and previously sat on the San Diego Building Industry Association Board of Directors for seven years and served as the Sales and Marketing Council President. In Washington State, Keith served as President of the United Way of Lewis County, Washington and served a total of three years on that Board.

A few fun facts about Keith include his recognition by authors in the book, “In the Eye of the Storm; Reengineering Corporate Culture”, being born in Tacoma, Washington and having received his Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business Administration and Business Management & Accounting.

Keith has lived in sunny San Diego for a total of 20 years, and lists having married his high school sweetheart, Jean, at 17 years old, being married for 38 years, raising two children who are now grown and enjoying time with his four wonderful granddaughters as his proudest accomplishments in life. His friends often describe him as dependable, ethical and funny and most people don’t know that he was the youngest sergeant (E-5) in the Marine Corps in 1976 while stationed at the Naval Air Station North Island.

Recent travels that Keith has enjoyed with his family include trips to the Cayman Islands, Italy, Germany and Florida’s Key West. He also rode his motorcycle from the coast of San Diego to the coast of Virginia and back a few years ago. Keith is also quite the adventurous type! He loves to scuba dive, snow ski and ride his motorcycle, and will be working towards his skydiving certification license this spring.
