New Member Spotlight: Greg Carnegie
Greg Carnegie is a Certified Energy Manager and Certified Thermographer at Reno Contracting. The build-to-suit general contractor specializes in corporate campuses and buildings, biotech, hospitality, healthcare, efficient and sustainable buildings, energy service consulting, solar projects and tenant improvement.
As the Energy Program Manager, Greg manages multiple types of energy service contracts with municipalities and commercial property managers including:
His roster of experience in the industry is rather impressive. Greg worked in the commercial mechanical and building automation contracting field for 19 years, followed by five years of energy consulting with firms servicing federal, state and local governments, as well as commercial firms eager to reduce utility expenses and increase facility asset values.
Greg was born in “the middle of nowhere Arizona”, educated at USN, ASU and MCC and relocated to San Diego over 33 years ago. A few fun facts about Greg is his accomplishment of surviving six years aboard nuclear submarines, his favorite hobby of fishing and his friend’s often describe him as “He’s the bomb!” (this may or may not be subjective).
