Do you know Christine Linemann? She prefers to be called “Chris” and works as a property manager for Cushman & Wakefield. Her portfolio includes Life Science buildings. When she is not busy managing her buildings, she participates in BOMA San Diego’s Emergency Preparedness & Sustainability Committee and the Life Science Committee.
In her free time, Chris and her partner decided that they would build an art school in India at the foothills of the Himalayas. She and her partner started building their art school in 2020 during the pandemic and she just went back in June to see the final project. Her art school serves the area by offering classes in pottery, with the goal of expanding to provide classes in ceramics, woodworking, oil and acrylics. Chris' art school is called Fulsani Art Hive and offers art classes to students and adults in the region that would not normally have access to the arts.
Chris' favorite inspirational quote is by Albert Einstein, "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle" Wow, great mantra, Chris! Make sure you say “hi” the next time you see her at a BOMA event!
