The Eight “P’s" to Disaster Preparedness

Program Initiation: Benchmarking, evaluation and audit.  Test your plan regularly and update accordingly.
Potential:  Risk Assessment & Impact what can happen?
Planning:  Develop Strategies for Continuity and Response
People & Providers:  All levels.  Identify roles, responsibilities, training, accountability, communication.
Processes:   Operations, admin, financial, IT, etc
Premises:  Consider facilities essential to the business and alternatives
PR:  Internal, External, Reputation, External Agencies
