As many of you well know, over two years ago construction started on Terminal 1 (T1) at the San Diego International Airport. Well, everything has progressed on time and the first half is 60% completed!!! Once completed, this project will add 30 new gates to the airport – the first half of the project is set to be completed by 2025. And the best news? The new parking plaza, with an additional 2,800 parking spots, is set to be completed soon and targeted to open in August.

Did you know that when it is all finished in 2028, the new terminal will be about a half mile longer than the current terminal 1? T1 is certainly poised to attract more travelers to the wonderful city of San Diego!
