You can feel the stadium rumble as 7,600 San Diego fans scream after the Sockers score their tie-breaking goal….well at least that is the plan. 

North County San Diego is welcoming Frontwave Arena, a 170,000 square foot event arena, currently under construction at 3475 Hero Drive in Oceanside, also known as the El Corazon district. Slated to open in Fall of 2024, the venue will be the first large multi-purpose indoor entertainment venue in North County. 

In May 2021, the San Diego Sockers entered into a partnership with Sudberry Properties to call Oceanside their new home. Frontwave Arena, naming rights secured by Frontwave Credit Union for at least 10 years, will showcase the best and brightest names in music of all genres, headlining comedy, family shows, and community events. Frontwave will also be home to the 16-time champion San Diego Sockers, and a growing roster of sports teams, tournaments, and athletic events. 

The arena will have 16 luxury suites, eight bars, three VIP viewing decks, two exclusive lounges and an open-air patio. The concourse level will offer a variety of craft food and beverage options.
