Advance Your Career – Earn Your RPA, FMA or CMCP
Are you ready to grow your professional development with BOMI courses that are designed to maximize your property and facility knowledge? BOMA San Diego offers industry recognized courses and programs for the Real Property Administrator (RPA), Facilities Management Administrator (FMA), the Certified Manager of Commercial Properties (CMCP) and MORE!
Earning your CMCP certification is the first step in the commercial real estate industry, it is designed specifically for early career professionals (4 years or less in the industry) who wish to validate their property management knowledge for themselves and their employers. This certification helps you stand out among your peers and gives you the confidence to know you have a solid foundational knowledge in property management. Also, BOMI is now accepting the CMCP Prep Course as a competency credit for an elective to be applied to BOMI International’s RPA designation program.
The RPA and FMA designations are a recognized distinction in the commercial real estate industry to your employers, tenants, and others in the property management field. These designations not only set you apart from others but also increase your marketability and earning power. When you earn a BOMI designation it is yours to keep, no matter your affiliation with BOMA, unlike other professional organizations that offer similar programs but require active membership to maintain your hard-earned education credentials.
BOMA San Diego courses are offered online, LIVE & INTERACTIVE using the Zoom platform with excellent and knowledgeable instructors.
The 2022 education schedule will include the following courses:
Budgeting & Accounting (RPA)
Environmental Health & Safety (RPA/FMA)
Asset Management (RPA Elective)
Building Design & Maintenance – Part I (RPA/FMA)
Foundations of Real Estate Management (Entry level course covering the fundamentals of commercial real estate)
You can begin pursing your designation at any time during your career and BOMA San Diego is here to help. You have seven years to complete a designation once you enroll and can also request a one-year extension if needed.
Course schedules and more info can be found on BOMA San Diego’s website.
Information on the CMCP Certification can be found at BOMI’s website.
Please feel free to reach out to a BOMA San Diego Education Committee member for more info – we are happy to help!
