Selected candidate delivers both experience and passion

Four Seasons Tree Care is pleased to welcome Selestino Mercado as its new Operations Manager. Sel brings over 25 years of experience and a passion for giving back to the industry. In 2007 and 2008, he served as a trainer and mentor in the first ever Women’s Competition of the Western Chapter ISA (WCISA) Tree Climbing Championship. His trainees won both years. Sel has also been a judge for the WCISA TCC. The WCISA publically recognized his work in 2008 with the Award of Commendation. He spearheaded the reinstitution of LA County’s defunct Tree Care Division in 2008. In 2010, he was formally commended by the County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation for his work with challenged youth in the fundamentals of tree climbing. Certified in Aerial Rescue Training, an ISA Certified Tree Worker (#602), Certified Aerial Rescue Instructor, Certified Aerial Lift Instructor and Certified Heavy Equipment Operator, Sel currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Hispanic Arborist Association.  

As Operations Manager, Sel is responsible for the setup of all Four Seasons Tree Care projects, implementation of appropriate safety measures and upholding of quality work standards on the part of field employees.
