Lynn Dover joined the firm’s Fair Housing Practice Group in 2002 and has been practicing landlord/tenant law for over 26 years.  Prior to joining the firm, she was an experienced trial lawyer and assisted clients in their unlawful detainer matters.  While at KTS, she gained expertise in fair housing and landlord/tenant issues and has conducted hundreds of fair housing trainings for clients and industry associations throughout the State of California.  The Fair Housing Department provides clients with a wide range of fair housing related services, such as fair housing consultations, drafting letters to residents, fair housing advocacy groups and attorneys, providing fair housing reviews of lease documents, developing fair housing policy manuals, drafting opinion letters, negotiating and drafting disability accommodation agreements and specialized training in handling disability accommodation and modification, hoarding and senior housing issues.

Mr. Bray joined the firm’s landlord/tenant group in 2002 and has been representing clients in residential and commercial eviction matters. Additionally, he assists clients in setting up and preparing them in their small claims cases.  Mr. Bray’s expertise also includes Manufactured/Mobile Home Residency Law, Post Foreclosure Evictions and Subsidized Housing.  He has represented the firm’s national property management clients and regularly participates in industry trade association events.  To date, Mr. Bray has represented clients in over 3,300 matters.

We are pleased to recognize our new partners and are excited about their expanded client representation

Ms. Fortune has been a practicing attorney since 2003 with over 200 days in trial as lead counsel.  She joined the firm’s Business Real Estate Group in 2010 and brought with her extensive litigation knowledge and legal technology expertise. As the Business Real Estate Group’s newest partner, she represents business owners and real estate investors in business and complex real estate issues, e.g. disputes over purchase/sales agreements, development agreements, boundary disputes, and zoning/use disputes.  Ms. Fortune’s representation of franchisees in litigation against their franchisors pursuant to the California Franchise Investment Law, has earned her recognition as a top litigator. She has served as a panelist and organizer at the Association of Business Trial Lawyers 2012 and 2013 annual conferences.  In addition to expanding the Business Real Estate Group client base, Ms. Fortune will be assisting the firm’s landlord/tenant clients with their general business litigation needs, by offering a comprehensive package for their entire real estate portfolio.
