July President's Message
I hope everyone enjoyed the Fourth of July Celebration. Tom Magnussen, Amber Molina, Audrey Doherty, and I just returned from the BOMA International Convention in Washington DC. It is always inspiring to attend, mix and mingle with BOMA affiliates not only from San Diego but from all over the world. There was a general positive outlook and atmosphere from owners, developers, property managers and service providers.
If you haven’t already registered for July’s luncheon, I suggest you do so immediately. You won’t want to miss it! It’s at the fantastic Tom Ham’s Lighthouse and members can bring a non-member Building Owner or Property Manager to attend as a guest at no charge. Programs and Seminars, along with Membership, have worked together to come up with an exciting program for the summer with the kickoff at the lunch. Hear direct from Marshall Merrifield, Chairman of the Board for the Port of San Diego as he discusses the future planning for the Seaport Village Transformation, I love that at BOMA San Diego we get to hear about the future City plans directly and have the opportunity to ask questions from the leaders.
