Hello BOMA San Diego Community!

We are in the peak of busy season, but I just wanted to give a few shout outs I’ve been storing up from these last few events:

Monique Adley with BiodMed Realty served as our Vice Chair of Education. Monique recently took a promotion that relocated her to San Francisco, so while we are thrilled and excited for her to have the opportunity, we are bummed to see her leave. Monique was this year’s champion of our Foundations class. A multi-week class with multiple instructors throughout the day for 12 students, whom we will honor at the August lunch. Thank you for all of your contributions over the years, Monique! We appreciate you!

Sarah Love with ABM Lighting was the sub-chair for Emerging Professionals’ Corn Hole Tournament back in June and really hit it out of the park in terms of both making the event budget and ensuring high principal attendance and participation! The western themed attire, the food, everything was on point. Congrats on a very successful event to Sarah and the entire committee!

Designer Purse Bingo: we hosted our annual Designer Purse Bingo event and our sponsors took their purse walks to a whole new level this year! Major shout out to Yissel Lomeli from A.O. Reed, Stephanie Kozlowski from Knight Commercial, Leahna Abelsohn from Professional Maintenance Systems, Lisa Sussman from ServPro of San Diego City SW and Centre City / Uptown, and Connor Eubanks from South Shore Building Services, Inc. This amazing event really wouldn’t be much without your energetic performances and your sponsorship support. I’d also like to thank our unsung heroes that sold bingo cards all night: Ty Haga, California Commercial Coatings, Will Smith, A.O. Reed, Dennis Dubert, A.O. Reed,  Taylor Heisey, SavATree, and Emily Krogman, RSI Roofing. You’re all amazing and we couldn’t have been as successful without any of you!

Brad Stoner of Brad Stoner Painting has sub-chaired our Annual Summer Work Party for the last 25 years. His passion for giving back to the community has been awe inspiring over the years and he has been instrumental in organizing and coordinating our efforts. I had the opportunity to attend this year for the first time, and was blown away by all that can be achieved in a few short hours with a hardworking team. Thank you Brad!

As you might guess, every event BOMA San Diego hosts is thoughtfully put together by a slew of committee volunteers that work really hard to make sure your experience is great. If you have a knack or a passion for something specific, we’re taking suggestions for what to host next year!
