Each year, BOMA San Diego members volunteer to spend a Saturday morning in late July working together to help a local non-profit organization spruce up their facility during an event known as the Summer Work Party (SWP).  Months before the SWP, the BOMA Community Service committee works tirelessly to find prospective locations in need of our services – from qualifying the organizations, to walking the selected facility to establish needs, securing material donations, and completing projects the day of the event.

The committee is pleased to announce this year’s beneficiary is the Boys & Girls Club of Encanto.  BOMA Board Member Diana Cuevas said “this is the largest facility we’ve worked on” since she’s been in BOMA.

In preparation for the event, the Community Service Committee met with the Boys & Girls Club team to find out their wish-list items which include painting, cleaning, landscaping, building benches, and more.  Dunn Edwards Paint has generously donated paint for the project, and American Assets Trust has already committed to a cash donation as well.

Thank you to the following supporters:

We are also looking for 50-60 volunteers to help the day of the event, and for material donations.
Here is a link to the detailed wish-list and list of material needed. B&G Encanto Wish ListPlease reach out to SWP sub-chairs Brad Stoner or Reuben Del Valle if you have any questions about the event or if your Company is interested in donating materials.

An official e-blast will be sent out later on with registration details, but please remember to SAVE THE DATE on your calendars for 7/30/2016!
