TOBY stands for The Outstanding Building of the Year. The TOBY competition is one of the most prestigious programs of its kind in the commercial real estate industry and is one of the highest achievements recognizing superior building management and operational practices.

Local winners are announced at the Annual BOMA San Diego Gala on December 6, 2014 at the Estancia La Jolla. Winners will advance to the Pacific Southwest Regional competition and should they win at that level, they advance to the international competition. Winners of the international competition are announced at the 2015 Every Building Conference & Expo in Los Angeles, CA.
