The growing membership committee had their monthly meeting again, but this time it was almost standing room only!

“Just a few months ago, we were lucky to see half this many people show up for a meeting,” said Rhonda Vicker, chair of BOMA’s Membership Committee. “This is at least the second meeting in a row that we have filled up the conference table and even the extra chairs.  If this continues, and it could, we might need to find a bigger place to meet!”

The Membership Committee welcomes new blood, as innovation, fresh ideas and new contacts are key to the growth of the organization. Several promotional vehicles are put into action, increasing member retention, prospective member “touches” and the task of finding brand new Principle and Associate members to join BOMA San Diego.

The popular Membership Committee meets on the first Thursday of the month at noon. It is a brown bag lunch, but lunch is often hosted. Principal members and Associate members both make good membership committee participants.   Come check us out and see what all the excitement is about!

The purpose of the BOMA San Diego Membership Committee is to strengthen association membership through implementation of effective recruiting and retention programs, and it seems to be working!
