BOMA San Diego knocked it out of the park with their Padres Night Networking Event! Organized by the Membership and Emerging Professionals Committee, this lively evening was a chance for BOMA members to bond over hot dogs, beer, and baseball. The view of the game couldn’t have been better, as The Porch at Petco Park offered the perfect venue for cheering on the San Diego Padres.

Networking events are an important part of BOMA. Stacy Kurko, General Manager with Jay Paul Company, attended Padres Night and gushed about the event, saying, “The Padres game was a blast! Not only were the seats, food, and beverages great, but so was the company.” She went on to explain why events like this are so helpful to those in the commercial real estate industry:
“It’s so important to get out and socialize with people in our industry. That night, I personally found a (possible) new vendor for my parking lot lighting maintenance, met the property manager that manages the buildings that I used to manage and offered my help, and met a rising star in property management who I might want to hire someday.”
While we came to watch Padres baseball, to be honest, most of us didn’t know who they played or the final score. We were too busy having fun laughing, catching up with old friends, and meeting new ones on a warm summer San Diego night.
