In 2021, the Community Service Committee introduced three new charitable partners: the San Diego Center for Children, Monarch School, and the San Diego YWCA. The CS Committee membership continued to grow despite being virtual for the first half of the year and hosted four events with great success!

Jacobs and Cushman Food Bank: Raised $3,736 in financial donations; 17 BOMA members volunteered in-person at Food Bank warehouse; Collected 634 lbs of donated food items = 528 meals to those in need.

Summer Work Party, benefitting the San Diego Center for Children: 33+ BOMA members volunteered to landscape, paint, and clean the Center; Coordinated with Councilman Chris Cate to secure a $1K+ mulch donation from the City of San Diego.

Back to School Drive, benefitting Monarch School: Collected 312 backpacks; Collected 100+ boxes of school supplies, hygiene products, and clothing items; Raised $5,701 in monetary donations.

Holiday Gift Drive, benefitting the San Diego YWCA: Delivered 102 bins, hosted by 52 BOMA Members; Collected over 700 gifts, including toys, electronics, and household items; Raised over $6,500 in monetary donations and gift cards.
