Thank you to everyone donated backpacks and school supplies to BOMA’s 2021 Back to School Drive!

Currently there are over 23,000 homeless students in San Diego County, and Monarch School is dedicated to helping homeless students break the cycle of poverty through education.

Thanks to BOMA San Diego’s support and involvement, we are able to present Monarch School with the following donations:
  • 295 backpacks
  • 102 boxes of:
    • School supplies
    • Personal hygiene supplies
    • Clothes
    • Toys/Gifts
  • Cash donations = $5,701

These donations will directly help deserving children to succeed in the upcoming school year. Special thanks to American Assets Trust & their tenants at San Diego Fertility Center for their tremendous generosity during this drive.

This year, BOMA’s support came at a critical time as Monarch School continues to scale-up services and works to minimize disruptions to our students' education. Thanks in part to the success of the 2021 BOMA Back to School drive, Monarch School continues to help students reach their full potential by providing them with access to quality learning opportunities and supportive services to improve their future success.
