Norm Miller is the Hahn Chair and Professor of Real Estate Finance at the University of San Diego, and Vice-President of the Homer Hoyt Institute, a think tank of global real estate scholars and industry research directors. Prior to joining USD, he was Academic Director and the founder of the real estate program at the University of Cincinnati. He also advises on the management of private wealth in real estate and stock portfolios, and serves on several advisory boards. He has worked with CoStar and CBRE, Collateral Analytics and Black Knight, and the NMHC and NAA and others providing economic and real estate outlooks for both commercial and residential real estate and as a valuation expert for the FDIC. Currently he has been following PropTech trends and their integration into the real estate industry.
