The Do’s & Don’ts of the Expo
Four phenomenal organizations -- BOMA, IFMA, IREM and SDBEA -- are joining forces to host a Hollywood themed happy hour at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. From vice presidents to technicians, we’ll see commercial real estate professionals from across the industry spectrum walk down the red carpet. If you've been lucky enough to secure a highly coveted booth at the Expo, below are a few tips to ensure you’re the next big blockbuster:
1. Be respectful of associate friends: When you’re done speaking to a principal member, introduce them to your neighbor. Steer away from offering marketing materials at another vendor’s booth.
2. Go up, not out! Maintain your display within your 6’x6’ area.
3. Work your table: Stand in front to bring people in and stay off your phone!
4. Embrace the theme! An exciting display, fun costumes, and a quick game is an easy way to engage principal members and get them to stop by your booth.
