California utilities have switched to new energy pricing based on when you use energy. Use less electricity during peak hours and you can save. Visit sdge.com/whenergy/business where you’ll be able to:
  • Explore new Whenergy plans for your business
  • Compare Whenergy Pricing options
  • Get answers to common questions
Also, be sure you’re signed up to receive a notification when there’s a “Reduce Your Use” day. On these days, it will be critical to reduce energy during the event hours, otherwise pay higher prices. Go to My Account and click on “alerts and subscriptions.” Just a reminder, the summer billing period began on May 1. The summer season runs from May 1 – October 31 and electricity rates are higher than during the winter period. The peak hours change as well;
