November President's Message
As usual, it’s been a busy month at BOMA San Diego. A huge “congratulations” goes out to Thor Emblem from ABM Onsite Services and all the members of the Education Committee for being recognized by BOMI International (Building Owners and Managers Institute) for increasing RPA and FMA course attendance from 2014 to 2015! The Education Committee has been doing a great job of providing consistent course offerings for those pursing the RPA and FMA designations which has resulted in higher student enrollment in 2015.
The Community Service Committee is getting ready for our annual "Give From Your Heart Toy Drive" benefitting Promises2Kids. This wonderful program provides toys and gifts for children in foster care during the holidays. What a great way to give back during the holiday season. If your building can host a bin, please sign up! If you can’t host a bin but want to help, you can donate using the Promises2Kids Amazon Wishlist.
The annual BOMA Gala is all set for Saturday, November 7th. I hope to see you all there – it’s going to be a great night for sure! The Special Events Committee and Amber Molina of Colliers International have been working hard to make sure every detail is taken care of – from the cocktail hour before the event to the dance party after!
As we enter in to our winter season, you can rely on our BOMA Annual Sponsors to help you with any needs you might have as a result of the El Nino that we have all been hearing about on the news.
