On August 7th, BOMA San Diego hosted its annual Day at the Races at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club. Members dressed in themed “surf meets the turf” attire, sporting colorful floral prints, and classic derby hats. Del Mar lived up to its reputation with clear skies, vast ocean views, and a racetrack that rivals the reputations of Saratoga and Churchill Downs. While enjoying a buffet lunch and cocktails, members mingled as they placed bets on their favorite horses (some with more success than others), and voted for a winner of the Fabulous Hat Contest.
