Description:

Course Information: Asset Management (RPA & FMA)

This BOMI International course is required for the RPA designation program.

Additional Fees
$175 enrollment fee - First time enrollment in a BOMI designation program

$75 enrollment fee - Current BOMI designation holders to enroll in another BOMI program

$75 enrollment fee - To take an individual course. If you decide to enroll in a designation program in the future, this fee from your first course may be applied toward the $175 designation enrollment fee.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE NOTE: BOMI Institute classes offered by BOMA San Diego do not qualify for California Department of Real Estate Continuing Education credits. These courses are offered to provide opportunities for growth through professional education and are not represented as meeting any licensing or continuing education requirements.

BOMI courses are recognized by many other professional organizations such as IREM, IFMA, IUOE, AIA, and more. Credits from these organizations may apply as well.

Cancellation Policy: No cancellation with refunds within thirty (30) days before the first day of a scheduled class. Class cancellations made prior to thirty (30) days before the first day of a scheduled class will be subject to a $50 administrative cancellation fee which will be charged against your refund.

Note:

Effective January 1, 2010, Computer-Based Testing will be implemented for all BOMI International examinations, except Ethics is Good Business® ShortCourse™ The Ethics exam will be administered online using BOMI’s Learning Management System.  Exams will be administered at Pearson Vue owned or authorized, secure locations.
 
Students have six months to take the exam beginning from the first day of class.  Eligibility Period for Ethics is three month from the first day of class.

Today’s property managers work hand-in-hand with asset managers and often serve as asset managers themselves. Master skills in:

•Developing an asset management plan, including appropriate resources associated with the current economy

•Measuring financial and operational objectives, including audits and reasons

•Acquiring, disposing, and evaluating troubled properties for sound decision making

•Managing and marketing strategies for retaining and attracting tenants

BOMI International, U.S. courses are recommended for college credit by the
American Council on Education, CREDIT Recommendations Service. The ACE
college credit recommendation for this course is 3 semester hours, upper division
baccalaureate.

BOMI graduates can fulfill 18 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points by attending this course and completing and passing the exam. You may enroll in 1 CPD course every 3 years.
